We woke up and explored on our way to breakfast.
These are what the city streets of Seoul look like.
We found this giant church out of no where right around the corner. It was crazy big and awesome.
We had breakfast at McDonalds per Spencer's request. A sausage egg McMuffin, hash brown and O.J. is delicious no matter where you go, I don't care what anyone says.
We spent the afternoon at Iteawon Market. It's where I saw the most tourists, but it wasn't really "touristy" shopping. There was souvenir shops, but when I got underground and down the alleyways I found TONS of adorable little shops and boutiques. I was so in love with everything. Even Spencer thought it was cute.
I was a bit overwhelmed in a whole town filled with shoulder to shoulder adorable clothing, and stuff. I was on the lookout for a dress because they had ADORABLE ones and they were everywhere. When I picked out the one I wanted they said, "Ooo, uh, no no. That for Korean woman size medium. You no fit." Then proceed to show me a stretch waist dress that better suited me and my "uppa awea" as he said. Needless to say, I did add a dress to my wardrobe.
We got Spence a hand made 3 piecer suit. Super slick. Lil Korean man sizing up Spence below. The owner of the shop had really good English and was adorable. We were a sucker for him. His name was Mike aka Buddy Hacket...how can you resist?
These were the boutiques we continued to stumble upon. Alley after alley of classy, beautiful and mouthwatering fashion. ANNY was an ENTIRE store of cute sassy/summer dress each with a matching boyfriend cardigan over it. Every single one. UGH. Heaven.
Kim Kim woulda loved the shopping!
That evening we decided to head over to Olympic park (The summer olympics were in Seoul in 1988) to catch a baseball game. Gotta love that something we love is all over the world. The Korean leagues is a bit sorry, but the Koreans love it.
