To all my Vegas dwellers and passer throughs:

My sister's book release party for "A Farewell to Charms", the 3rd and final book in her Princess for Hire series, is tomorrow night

JUNE 29th, at 5pm @ Rainbow Barnes and Noble.

All ages welcome, come dressed like your favorite princess.
Treats for kids, book talk and fun!

If you can't make it, go buy her book for yourself at Barnes and Noble near you...
or order online at various locations.

I am so proud of my talented sister and can't understand how she can write a book...neh, BOOKS! And then she somehow is still a mother and wife. It perplexes me and inspires me. I'm so happy for her accomplishments and love her amazingly smart and creative mind. She helped me with my BYU application essay...so I can say I owe her writing some Yougurtland or Sushi.

Stay tuned as she has more books coming out next year. I got to research for one with her and I can say I'm so excited to see what she did with the information we found.

Lindsey Leavitt (She doesn't actually read this blog, but in case she ever stumbles across it) I think you are amazing and I love you so much and thank you for being a example and therapist for me in my life. You are my favorite sister :)
I agree to go to Zooey Booey now to celebrate...hold me to it

Reege's 50th Birthday

Richard is Spencer's dad. But...REEGE is my father-in-law. Reege came about at some point for a nickname and now has become a persona. REEGE turned 50 in February. FIFTY! So Spencer and I decided to make a trip up to Utah for the big event. We had thoughts of a big birthday party, lots of attention for him, etc. No, it was REEGE'S 50th birthday and he got to choose. So what did he choose. Family time. Quiet family time. Golfing with the boys and the Crystal Hot Springs with the all of us. Crystal Hot Springs are about an 1-2 hours north of SLC. Through a cute lil hick town. But this is what REEGE wanted and this is what we had to do with a smile on our faces. I loved how enthusiastic he was about it, even if I was finding weird hairs and floaties in the water while wadding. We perservered and had a great time as well as a wonderful short weekend get away to celebrate birthdays. Annie turned 15 as well. They are a day apart. Easy partying 2 in 1. Thanks for letting us join on the fun!

Don't get me started on the number of this girls age. My lil girl is not so little and I don't quite know what to do with myself. Love you Fatt Anne.

Goodbye 2011

I finally can bring 2011 to a close. I'll breeze through the holidays and events through pictures. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you've had a terrific 6 months. (Ps. this is all for journaling purposes, if you're over last year, you can move on, no sweat).

We got to go to the Alverson, Taylor office party office party this year...as guests. My dad--I don't know why I just know I loved him for this.
 Our Haul
We went to the Live Nativity with Craig and Kacie
Craig had told us that his boss was coming to the show that night. Little did we know it was because his newborn baby was the star- "Jesus". VIP guests.
I got Speene some Hugh Heff jammies. He LOVES 'em.
 CHRISTMAS CAMPOUT!
 We don't even care..."tains"
Lexi received the best gift ever....crafts. Always a necessity.
Got our Orr family pictures developed finally---and now they're already out of date.
Skyping with Nate and Kimi on Christmas Day

Talking to Bri via 3 phones and speaker (While he creeps in the background)
Lex and Bri couldn't help but do a photoshoot (Especially in his "Teach Me How to Jimmer" shirt from us)

Spence had to bid his old Korean girl wallet adu for his fancy new one.

We got to celebrate Nate and Kimi again at their Open House
It was at a place in Sandy called Le Jardin...it was GORGEOUS. It's basically a green house/jungle/perfection.
Their cute party cups for hot coco...LOVE IT
We got to celebrate the newlyweds first Christmas with us.

New Years Eve: puzzle tradition, ball drop, dancing, fun
