So remember that contest my sister was having, which none of you tried...thanks a lot, well--I WON!!!! Spencer's sick of hearing me gloat and it's too late to call my mom or something...so I must tell all. I actually won a contest. And it wasn't because she loved me-since she excluded me from the contest after I entered! RUDE! She couldn't pick from all the stories so she wrote all the 80 or something contestants names on pieces of paper, threw them in the air and picked 5 up...I WAS ONE OF THEM! She can't deny me. My luck is changing. HOLLA
(This was the only picture I could find of me getting lucky ;) )
(Oh, did I fail to mention that even after I won, she still cut me out and picked someone else?! Some people just can't handle my awesomeness.)
I've been in the library for close to 3 hours now. I always know the first hour is just busy work and cleaning house-emails, blogs, blackboard, facebook, etc. Fun, right?...I know you all are guilty of the same. So as I sit here surfing the web(ps I'm watching One Tree Hill online as I type this), I'm listening to everyone around me and their conversations. It's awesome. Another distraction. Poor girl to the left of me's parent's don't want her to get married and hate that she's LDS. She's been pouring her soul for two hours. I just want to hug her. She has a pretty fatty engagement ring on and what looks like a wedding band---could she have eloped? I'm so interested. So interested that my teacher probably will use this paper I'm trying to write as a tissue when I turn it in. Now she is singing to herself...it's lovely. I hope her boyfriend/fiance/husband Devon knows how much she loves him. She says he just laughs the whole situation off. Oh Devin. Oh girl next to me...may all your worries go away.
Behind me is a group working on an advertising project. The girl leading the group is a super snot. I heard her whisper to the first guy that arrived that she wished it could just be them two in the group and not the other three. Brat. He backed them up and said how he understood their situations. All she couls say was "Yeah, but I need to do this!" Golly, overachiever. The next guy shows up and says how he can't get it done in time because he has a test and such. The girl takes no crap. She says "I need it by noon. I have a test and I have a class, but I'm still doing it. So, you can do it too." WOWZA! Glad I'm not working with them, although I could probably use some spice like that in my scholary life right now. I hope this advertising group finds what they're looking for. (Now, they're talking about how their different personalities don't work together...amen people!)
Ugh...Such interesting situations. Isn't it crazy obsessed we get with ourselves, while all the while everyone around us is living their own lives too. Most of them completely separated from your own. People's stories are so funny, intersting and dramatic. It's fun to give them a listenting ear. Try it. Let me know what you learn. Anything crazy? It also makes me think how everyone has different problems. Here I sit with a wedding and love live that went all too smoothly compared to the girl that sits next to me. Sad. Yet here I sit much less academically successful than the fiesty group behind me. One thing that might be someone else's success could be your demise. So I guess, don't take for granted the good in your life. Others might not have that happiness. And while you find the good in your life, work on the bad, strive to become better in the other areas that don't come so easily. It just takes a little work.
Wow, this has been my inspiring library thought for the day. I didn't even know I was going to say any of that. Take it for what it's worth. I will now go work on my weakness--papers and tests. The good thing about that is one day, if I can make it through the next year or two, it will all be over!!!! Good thing!
Ok...I'm going to one day dish and dish about my dishy sister, but until then I'm hoping you will check out her blog--her AUTHOR blog. She's doing a give away contest and I think you all should test your luck! Head on over and bask in her witty genius, learn of her success and maybe win a prize (I'll hint-It's something you can read:)...)!

**OH, and A Few Shout Outs** -HOLLA AT MY SISTA! -Happy Anniversary Reeg and Julie! I'm glad Spencer and I might have a chance. You guys are wonderful! -HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!
I have been meaning to expose some birthdays over the months so here I go...a whole slew for then and now.
Morgmiester Eric Taylor-February 16 Ladies he is the ripe age of 23 now and ready for pickin'! My stud bro is growing up oh so fast. We like to party with him on the way. My mom came up that weekend so it was a blast for all of us. We spent some time in Midway with them and got some dinner out of it. He got hooked up for his birthday-spoiled...but awesome! Morgster, we love havin' you around. Thanks for keepin' us laughin'!
Annie Rachele Orr-February 16
Richard "Reeg" Orr-February 17 We celebrated these birthdays up in Salt Lake with the fam. We got Annie some make up brushes as she is now a young woman and is on her way down the path her father will hate-become a woman. I love living vicariusly through my Anniekins. Spencer's dad is quite the kitchen helper and wears an awesome cow print apron around the house all day when he's been cooking. Sometimes he gets made fun of, mostly by me, so we got him a new apron that says "This is a manly apron for a manly man doing manly things with manly food." He can make some mean mashed potatoes. :) It's always fun to have dinner and endless laughter (Beth and Vickie) with the Orr's. Congrats you two! I'm glad I could be present at another birthday, you're stuck with me now, so get used to it. (They love me too much to ever deny me :))(Oh and Reeg got a giant "Y" to put on their balcony-Go Cougs!)
Grandpa Wittwer-March 3 We had a big celebration for Spencer's Grandpa's 80th birthday tonight! CRAZY! Spencer and I were thinkin' about how long we have to go to that point. Congrats for all the wonderful years Grandpa! We love him and his endless amounts of knowledge. Always makes us smile.
Jack Drushal Taylor- March 9 No joke...my nephew is turning 8!! He's getting baptized! I seriously am shocked by it. He's been the shinning star in our family for so long and now he is like a kid, not a baby or a toddler...practically not even a child with how smart he is! He can rant off endless numbers and facts about the randomist things. It's awesome. He is such a happy kid and the honestly the sweetest soul ever. I love him so much and am so glad he was the start to my aunthood. LOVE YOU JACKERS!
Eric Keith Taylor- March 13 Friday the 13th is a lucky day for me because the earth was given a special goober-my father. He is basically the man. If I were ever to be corny on this thing it would be at this moment because I'm such a Daddy's girl. I miss sitting on his lap and annoying him to pieces. He loved it though because I'm his "Golden Girl" which I'm sure we can all tell means I'm his favorite. I miss his warm (some boys called it deep/scary) voice and giant hugs. He always makes me feel special and importnant. He's probably turning 30 or something, who even knows, he looks like a youngin'. I miss his funny quirks dearly. I hope that he eats a giant bowl of bread and milk for me on his birthday. I'm so lucky to have such an interesting man as my dad. I can't wait for him to answer the phone next time I call home so I can coax him into talking to me about politics, baseball or music-that's how I get him not to hand the phone to my mom right away (he knows that's why I'm really calling). I love you Pappa. <3 You are the best...Happy day of birth! "Hey old man...get a rocking chair!!"
Anyone else who was graced with another number this year so far...HOLLA AT YASELF! These peeps rock and I thank them for supplying my social life over the last couple months. The parties keep me goin' and they just keep comin'!
