September and August in a slide show...

So when all the wedding stuff was done we:
-Went to Anaheim for our friends wedding. It was at the Newport temple and was wonderful. We stayed with Zach and Jana in their new FANTASTIC apartment. Jana treated us to Disneyland with her special pass...as she is a Pinnochio dancer! She is the best. It was a nice weekend get away and 3rd honeymoon.
-We started school and I made Spencer wake me up just to take a picture...tradition!
-I started being a wife and cooking. I had to document it.
-We went to the Salt Lake and Provo temple.
-Every month Spencer's mom's side, Wittwer, gets together and celebrates birthdays. We went up Millcreek Canyon. It was so fun. Grandma Wittwer turned 29...she's the cutest.
-My girlfriends from freshman year, "Chipman 2200" (the dorms), threw Katie and I a shower up here! It was so sweet. We got to gab about our weddings...of course it was fun.
-Spencer makes cookie dough everyday. Never bakes it. It's delicous...and destroying.
-We went and saw My Fair Lady with my Uncle Kyle and Morgan and his girl. It was nice to have a dinner and a date...free of charge :)
-My dad and I got Jack Johnson tickets for our birthdays. We took our spouses. It was the perfect double date.

Hopefully I can avoid 2 month updates. FUN!

N8 the GR8

I wanted to write about Nate for a few reasons 1. We miss him 2. He's an awesome missionary, serving in Cuiaba, Brazil. 3. NATE'S A STUD (Spence's reason...thanks...) I basically wanted to post adorable pictures of him and gush about what an awesome kid he is.

-He sang to us at our open house with Annie. He is an angel of a brother to her when Bri and Spence are little punks. He is super sensitive and caring. Anywho, he sang and by this picture, you can tell...it was awesome.
-He is a connoisseur (had to look that up 3 times...that's right) of music. Always in the know and keeping it fresh (trying too hard). Not sure how we'll be up to date now.
-He writes the most amazing letters home. He keeps us informed and entertained. His first letter he let us know that he survived a spider monkey bite...glad to know he's safe.
-He's such a genuine person. Just a real kid and because he's so good with people he's loving every second of the MTC in Brazil. One of last nights with Nater was the closing games of the Olympics. We were watching with all of Spencer's family and couldn't believe what we were seeing on the TV. THEY WERE INSANE!
How did we sit and watch that? How did we do that and not die of laughter? Oh wiat, we did. And unfortunately/fortunately the power went out (which was totally fun because we lit candles and had dinner in the dark by candle light and chatted, living without eletricity. So awesome.) We decided to keep the performance going. So the dancing and singing of "Beijing, Bejing, I heart Beijing" began.Bri, Spence and I harrassed Nate with the song. It continues, but now there is no Nate to perform for. I asked Spencer to give me a quote about Nate for my blog on him...this is what we ended up with.

Anywho, Spencer just asked if I had a crush on Nate...well, I settled for Spence since Nate was leaving...NO! But someone should. He's the man.

*oh and Nate once told us his high school crew was called the Night Riders....um???

Settling In

So, I've come to the conclusion that I actually want to be up to date on my blogging. And so I am starting here and working my way backwards. I have had a crazy summer and want to share so I'll try to work at that and keep on this thing. So...Spencer and I...we did it! We actually got married and now here we are back in Prov settling into our first place. It's a cozy little apartment exactly south of campus...supreme location. A couple of the Groom girls (used to be) live in our complex so that should be fun. We moved in a couple weekends ago. My mom and his parents and Annie (his little sis) helped us. We had so much stuff! Thanks to experienced moms, the boxes and bins stacked everywhere somehow turned into this in my kitchen! I love my kitchen! I love playing house. It's fun to make Spider man shaped mac n' cheese for Spence. Such a homemaker! Spence worked so hard at putting all our furniture together (We heart Target). Even I masterminded one of the tables in our family room! It was stressful but so fun to set it all up and after two weeks I think we are getting somewhat close to actually being all set. Spence worked hard.

While the girls were setting up the kitchen and mingling over lunch, the boys insisted we set up the TV, no matter which TV or how random of a spot we put it in. They took their subs and settled in the corner of the room to watch the Utah and the BYU games. They loved it. I loved documenting it because I love that bed!!

We got so hooked up for our wedding and are super grateful! It was so nice having everthing to set up! This bedding is divine! No wonder Spence and I sleep, work, sleep, go to school, and sleep. We are finding it easier to actually go to school and do our homework since we have to somewhat be responsible adults now or something. Spence is still working for the sporting events here at BYU. He's so official in his nifty shirts they give him...I'm pretty sure he could get anywhere on campus or in the sporting events with that, khakis and a walkie talkie. Me getting into all things free is a plus too. I am nannying for a cute family in Orem. It's so nice and I'm loving it. It's an adventure all on it's own. Spence is back to his football roots, being asked to play for 4 football teams or something, but stickin with his buddies. It's fun to get out with everyone and cheer them on. I'm so excited to play some soccer again this season on a team with some gals...hopefully I can run...since Spence and I just ate a bowl of cookie dough (Kitchen Aid=heaven). That's basically it for us here though. We keep eachother entertained.
That's the start of our little life. I'll work hard to keep myself on top of this. It's a nice distraction from homework...which means it will probably be pretty easy keeping up!
