THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS!
Baseball brings me such good memories. It's always been a family sport we've all cheered for, I've grown to live for the ballpark, but even now for just watching and listening to games, 'cause that's what my dad and brothers always did so I remember that fuzzy and noisy sound in the house and car. It makes me real happy. So of course I'm completely OVERJOYED when our family team is showing it's stuff this post season. I hope with all my heart that they can take it to the end because if not, Spence is gonna be a hermit. He always liked baseball but wasn't really stoked on any teams. When he joined my family he was taken to Giants games with the boys, the family, and given giants paraphernalia for birthdays and Christmas. I didn't have to convince him, but now...I wish I would have. His heart is far too invested and I just...I'm crossing my fingers. I know my fanatic brothers and dad love having him to shout text messages too during the game and of course to participate in the family fantasy baseball league (lets not go there). I love it too. Love having him love something I've grown up loving. Now he loves them more than me and it scares me sometimes. :) Like when the Giants shirt I got him for his birthday this year has been on him for three days in a row and 8 days out of the last 3 weeks probably. But, whatever works I guess! ANYWAYS----now that I've rambled on---I'm just tributing my blog to the cause. Anything I can do. And raising awareness and hopefully some late season fans to see them through. It's about time Giants, it's about time.
If this post was boring...at least this will entertain you.
It speaks to the heart, that beard, it sure does.
Here's to a splendid season, and fingers crossed for what's to come.
