November 2011

Yeah that's right November 2011...get over it.
In November we were still getting used to Vegas and we were wrapping our head around a family wedding, parties, trips. In the begging of the month my mom and I threw the lovely Kelsey Groom Webster a shower.

Later I threw my lovely Kimbo slice a bachelorette party. Sweet little thing just doesn't love opening hose things in public so it made for a fun evening. We had a slumber party in Midway, just the few of us and I can't ever get enough of slumber parties.

My favorite Marissa Hick Bajingo Love
 She's embarrassed :) Love her
For our activity we made homemade ornaments for the new Orr family-to-be's Christmas tree since they'd be getting married in december. Kim's friends are all so creative so they were all adorable.
The same weekend we had our Utah family shower for Kimi. Of course I was late and forgot something and was stressed, but it wouldn't be a party with both Kim and I there if one of us didn't feel that way. It was fun for us to be together at a family party for the first time. Weird, but so fun to be there for each other, so I could be around to ease Kimi into getting to the family even better as we got to know her even better through various games and interactions. I did a newlywed type game and had Nate show up to surprise Kimi and play the game live with us.

Grandma Wittwer and Grandma Orr
One time when Kimi was staying at my house we stayed up REAL late watching informercials (well we always watched informercials, we love 'em). Well this was when the magic bullet was first out. NO JOKE we watched the informercial for 2-3 hours one night in AWE and Wonderment, commenting and laughing about every little thing. We could act it out for you now. Well- her dream came true like mine did at my shower when I recieved it. Don't even use it really, but that's not the point of having it, or the story.

Her cute cousins and bedding.
Gorgeous couple
While playing the newlywed game Kimi would sometimes hold her face in embarrassment while Nate told stories of them. :)

The W.O.W cookbook is a blessing that comes into your life upon marrying into the Wittwer clan. "Words. of. Wittwer." It's really the only thing you need in the kitchen.

And next post....the best part of November always- Thanksgiving. Which was spent in Hawaii with my family!
