Waiting for a Winter Wonderland

It's been another month, go figure. But I'm still here and kicking. This is what we've been up to through the holidays. We love it. It's supposed to snow tomorrow...I never thought I'd be glad to hear that, but we're in Utah-give us what we expect! Thanksgiving was a blast and delicious, being that we got one with each family. Spoiled. We're excited to get school done this next week and focus on Christmas. We love it too much. Our small little apartment looks like a Christmas shop. No one else has seen it, but man do we find it cozy.

Thanksgiving with the Orr family. Incredible stuffing. Grandma actually wore a bib :) Classic. We played the most intense game of Cranium ever. My team won...naturally.

Uncle Kyle took Spence, my dad and I to a Jazz game. Although it ended in disappointment, I did get this worth while picture.

My friend Brianna is pregnant...and I mean PREGO! She's due in a month, baby girl. She was in town for the day, quite the treat. Got all us girls together. <3

We have our own beautiful Christmas tree. (Thanks MOM!) We decked our halls and danced to Christmas jams. So wonderful. This is the final product. As the presents flood under it, it gets better and better! Now turn your head and admire the pic :)

Our friends Allen and Ashley had a Christmas party and we made gingerbread houses. It was quite the adventure. It was a competition...which means Spencer plotted architecture all day. We got there and ignored our opponents as we built away. At the peak of our brillance finishing the house, all our hope was crushed as our roof crunched. We tried to recover...crunch again...and again. So our dreams of a beautiful Whoville home were out the window and an attempt to finish was all we had. We added flare to the finish by making our home look as...interesting as we could. Allen put an award in for the judges that said "better luck next year", so that we could get one...turns out they won it! HA! And yes, the other three PERFECT houses didn't stand to our comical castle. We got 3rd from one judge and 2nd from another!!
That's just what the Orr's do. People like us ;) (The candy dishes distracted the judges and doubled as lawn deco.)
