Country Croonin'

I am going to the Taylor Swift concert tonight. My white D.I. cowgirl boots are preped and ready to go. I got them back in that crazy first year of college. The 5.99 tag is still on them. They've proven to be worth it. Oh and don't even worry, they have a braided band across the ankle with a chain that jingles. I like to tap dance in them. You could say they're like my power boots. I do what I want in them.

I'm glad I finally get to live in the glory of my jazz dancing skills. Look where they have brought me this evening. So to dear Taylor Swift: good luck, I hope that you can handle me!

(That's probably what she'll look like as she gazes up at me in the upper bowl, lettin' my boots do their thang.)

Life As We Know It

OK so I’m basically gonna skip all the I-should-of-blogged-but whatever talk and basically give a three month update. I have all these fun pictures and a few fun stories to go along with them. Currently we have uprooted from Provo and planted far away in Salt Lake. We are bummin’ off the Orr family for a while and LOVIN’ it. We just talk all night with them and play way too much. We are juggling concerts, games and family events. I’ll pretend we’re second parents, but I’m sure Mama and Pappa Orr think we’re the biggest problem children in the house. What else would you expect?! We both still have our jobs in the Prov so we’re frequent part-time visitors and we are doing Spring semester up here at the BYU Salt Lake Center. The money savin’ thing is workin’ for us well. We’ll continue the “saving”…mooching….in Vegas in a little over a month. We love family hopping. Here’s some of adventures of that skill and others:

Orr Ski Trip

We went to Park City for the weekend in March once with the Orr clan for a ski get away. Bri and I were thug life-boardin'. Spence transformed from his boardin' self to try out the skis and I'll say, I sure liked it...He was my personal tow machine whenever I got stuck on the straight parts. FUN!

Spring Training

The Taylor crew happens to be the ultimate San Fransico Giants fans. So, why not go to Spring Training in AZ? We sure weren't against getting out of Provo so we joined the club. Heat during all the snow we were having in MARCH was awesome and we soaked up the sun. We met the players and drank lots of "Lemonade Lemonade like Grandma made!" (There was a BIG black dude that kept chanting that as loud as he could selling lemonade and he got us all thirsty)

Vegas

I stopped in Vegas for literally one night while on my way to Cali and played the ENTIRE night. It was perfect. I got my girl time with Sammy and Britt. I had a much needed 2 year catch up with Trev, we both had some big things happen :) We had breakfast burritos in the basement with Sammy and chatted about all. Just like the good old days--you know, so long ago! I also am proud to say I provided Trevor with his first Gatorade back in the states. Oh joy to Vegas and it's fun.

SO I think I'm caught up through March almost!!! There's too many more perfect pictures to share and I'm sure I've overloaded here, so the best is yet to come!
