E-A-G-L...

Spencer coached Skyline High School's men's volleyball team this season. It consisted of his brother and all his buddies. He went up 3 nights a week to SLC for games and practice. Annoying, but fun.

This weekend was the state tournament and BYU was hosting it. SO naturally we had all seven boys sleeping on our wood floor wall to wall Friday night. I came home from work to a carpet of high schoolers'. The next morning boys were creeping through my bedroom all morning to the bathroom, since it's located in our room. It was an interesting experience sharing a bathroom with 7 boys and letting them eat all my cereal, but a fun one. I'm just preparing myself for the "team mom" I will one day have to be being in the Orr family. I'm psyched.

Spencer's studly bro Brian is the setter. Impressive

The boys did well, had fun, but ran off early to go to their Prom, no big deal. Spence and I finished the night laying in bed from 7 to sleep. High School's exhausting.

One day of sunshine

There was once a day in the month of May in Utah that there was sunshine....once. That one day was our one day of spring break before spring semester. So we rented a tandem bike, packed a lunch, grabbed some balls and went to the park for the afternoon. It was lovely. We napped under a tree, I played hide and seek with some little kid and we biked home.

We found "The Museum of People's and Culture's around the corner from our house and ventured it. Interesting stuff. Hundred of years of ancient tribal history and this is what Spencer got from it.
I can't wait for the next day of sunshine....I hate wearing jackets in May.

The Sunday Spill

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Mothers I love:

MOST IMPORTANT: My own momma. She is why I am the oddly interesting person I am today :) I LOVE YOU!
My sister who is the mom that answers my call when real mother leaves her cell phone in the car-which is always.

My sis-in-laws who I can steal ideas from on how to be hip and cute and stuff.

My mother-in-law who raised Spencer to put up with me.

All the woman who helped my mother raise me and guided me through all my awkward years.

My precious friends who appear to be poppin' out babies these days. You'll all be the best.

And of course-Angelina Jolie....cause she loves collecting beautiful babies. What would we do without her?

All you mothers out there who endured pregnancy and labor to bring kids to this world...you have all my respect.
THANK YOU!!

The Sunday Spill

-Spring semester so far is awesome. Piano, tennis, D&C and a class where we play board games every Friday or something. I am thoroughly enjoying my study hours.
-My friend's wedding was last night....best cake Spencer and I have ever had. I LOVE WEDDINGS.
-I ate skittles last night...who ever eats skittles anymore? Oh but they make "fave reds" starburts now. Best thing ever.
-My sister is moving to Vegas this month. I can't tell you how stoked I am to have my nieces on this side of the country. Oh and my sister I guess.
-Deep cleaned the house and car this weekend...sometimes that is just far too interesting/gross. How did those Cheese It's get under the rug?
-We love 30 Rock. "Werewolf Bar mitzvah spooky scary. Boys becoming men, men becoming wolfs!"
-We went to game 6 of the Jazz v. Nuggets series. OH HOW IT IS ALWAYS SO GLORIOUS!! Victory was ours. Bring it Lakers. And Wes Matthewsis so the new Ronnie BMy heart is replaced....oh Wesley.
-My parents are in Puerto Rico. I am in Provo. Why would I be jealous? It's not like mother nature hates provo or anything.
-Must sleep, migraine curses recently. SUCKS
